Bittersweet.

So, it's been a bittersweet day for me. I found out that my pastor has four cancerous tumors in his brain that are inoperable. One is very deep and the other three have grown through the bone at his forehead. Everyone is believing he will be healed and praying for a miracle, so please keep him and his family and friends in your prayers during this time. Anyway, as I was thinking about this I ran across this article so I thought I'd share :)

It's the first day of spring...

...and a beautiful Kentucky day so I thought I'd take advantage of the sunshine! Here are a couple pictures of my gorgeous little sister, Kayne.

Just a few photos...

Finally...

...after weeks and weeks of getting things in order I'm ready to do this. Photography has been a passion of mine ever since I can remember. I got my first digital camera when I was 12 and I set out to capture the world one picture at a time.
As I got older I dreamed of starting a photography business but, like always, life got busy and my dream got pushed to the back burner. I put all my time and energy into school. In high school I was a book worm. I spent my time reading and studying...determined to graduate with honors. I guess I thought this would be proving myself to the world. My senior year I applied to the University of Kentucky determined to be a civil engineer. In 2006 I entered my first college class, Intro to Civil Engineering...after about a month I knew it just wasn't for me. I realized I was pursuing money instead of what I really loved to do. After my first semester at UK I changed my major to Journalism and couldn't be happier. Four years have flown by! In less than two months I will be graduating and moving on to better and brighter things. As I started to think about graduation and what I would do with my life after college the back burner re-ignited and photography came back to the forefront of my thoughts...so here it goes! I'm specializing in pregnancy, newborn/infant, and toddler photography but will be more than happy to photograph anything! If you're interested shoot me an e-mail-----> kelseydphotos@yahoo.com

Love, Peace, & Photographs,
